This Privacy Policy describes how Outermark Group ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Bloom: Calm Block Puzzle ("Bloom", "the app"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. We are the developer and publisher of the app. Contact details are at the end of this policy.
This policy applies to the app only. It does not apply to our website or any other product or service we may offer, which are covered by their own terms where applicable.
We collect no personal information. None. To be explicit, the app does not collect, request, access, transmit or process any of the following:
The app contains no advertising and no third-party advertising, analytics, attribution or social-media SDKs.
Like almost every game, Bloom saves your progress so it is still there the next time you play. This game data includes your scores and best score, experience level, petals (the in-game currency, which is earned only by playing and can never be purchased), unlocked badges, daily goal progress, garden contents, and your settings (sound, haptics and reduced-motion preferences).
This data:
Your device's operating system may include the app's saved data in its own backup services (for example iCloud backup on iOS, or Google's Android backup service) if you have those enabled at the device level. Those backups are created and controlled by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies, are tied to your platform account, and are not accessible to us. You can manage or disable them in your device settings.
Bloom requests no sensitive permissions. The app uses your device's standard vibration capability to provide gentle haptic feedback (which you can switch off in the in-game settings) and plays sound through your device's audio output (also switchable off). It does not require network access to play and functions fully offline, including in aeroplane mode.
We do not share information with third parties, because we hold none to share. However, you should be aware of two things outside our control:
Bloom is suitable for a general audience and contains no content inappropriate for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and no parental consent mechanisms are required. We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Article 8 of the EU/UK GDPR, and equivalent children's privacy laws by the simplest possible means: collecting nothing at all. The app contains no advertising, no external links presented to the player during gameplay, no chat or social features, and no purchases.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have somehow received personal information about your child, contact us at the address below and we will investigate and delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), other U.S. state privacy laws, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), or Canada's PIPEDA. These typically include rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port personal data, to object to processing, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct, delete or port — your game data lives only on your device, where you already control it fully (you can erase it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage in your device settings).
If you nonetheless wish to make a privacy request or ask a question, contact us using the details below. We will respond within any legally required timeframe (and in any case aim for 30 days).
The most effective data security is holding no data. Since we neither collect nor store your personal information on any server, there is no server-side database of user data to breach, leak or subpoena. Game data on your device is protected by your device's own security (sandboxing, encryption at rest where enabled, and your passcode/biometrics). We retain nothing, so no retention schedule applies on our side; your local game data persists until you delete it.
We do not transfer personal data internationally, because we do not collect it. No cross-border transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are required for the app.
Bloom is deliberately built without data collection, ads or purchases. If a future version of the app ever introduces a feature that involves processing personal data (for example, optional cloud save or online leaderboards), we will: (a) update this policy before the feature ships, with a new effective date and a clear description of what is collected and why; (b) update the Google Play Data Safety section and the Apple App Privacy label to match; (c) collect the minimum necessary; and (d) where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. Continued use of the app after an updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
We may update this policy from time to time (for example, to reflect legal changes or new app features). The "Effective date" at the top will always show the current version. Material changes will be noted in the app's store release notes. Prior versions are available from us on request.
